Sourcebook. Entity and industry intelligence where every figure carries its source.

Sourcebook is a company and industry intelligence service for compliance, assurance and audit work. It is built entirely from public sources: the ASIC registers, the ATO's published statistics, ABS industry statistics, ABARES forecasts, and corporate disclosures pinned to their source documents by sha256. Every output carries a source register; anything the sources cannot support is refused rather than released.

The grounding and provenance machinery underneath it was developed over three years inside AxoQuant's research operation, across more than 500,000 automated strategy development and review cycles, where output that cannot be verified loses money. Sourcebook is that machinery pointed at a public problem.

Fig. 1 — Entity brief
A Sourcebook entity brief for Pilbara Minerals Pty Ltd: register identity with former names, published tax figures, disclosed commercial relationships with source pins, and the industry benchmark ranked against all divisions.
One entity, one page, everything pinned. The brief for a lithium producer, resolved from a misspelt query. Register identity from the ASIC company dataset (4,449,049 name records, October 2026 extract, refreshed weekly). Tax figures from the ATO's 2024-25 report of entity tax information (4,379 entities). Relationships extracted verbatim from pinned ASX and SEC filings; 100 per cent of published records pass lineage replay. The benchmark panel ranks the entity's division against all seventeen ABS divisions.
Fig. 2 — Divergence report
The Sourcebook divergence report: industry margin movers 2023-24 to 2024-25, the tax transparency distribution, and the ATO's published benchmark bands beside independent ABS measures.
The independence exhibit. Largest operating-margin movements by ANZSIC subdivision, 2023-24 to 2024-25, derived from ABS Australian Industry (81 of 81 subdivisions covered from the pinned 2024-25 release). Beside it, the ATO's own published benchmark bands — derived from lodged declarations — against ABS measures that are not. Both are true. Only one is independent of the thing being tested.
